Marques Workshop

Together with Marques, the European Association of Trademark Owners, Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal organized a Workshop on Trademark Coexistence Agreements on March 5, 2015. The workshop was moderated by Sergio M. Ellmann as a Marques Representative. Diego Fernández gave a presentation on the most important issues to be considered when negotiating and drafting coexistence agreements. At the same time, participants were presented with a made-up case for which they had to draft the framework of a possible agreement. The aim of the workshop was to train participants in the skills of negotiating this type of agreements.
