Trademarks - Appointment

Gustavo Giay attended the Leadership Conference of the International Trademark Association (INTA) on November 6-10, 2012 in Orlando, U.S.A. He chaired the meeting of the Anti-Counterfeiting Committee (ACC), and attended the meetings of the several regional subcommittees which make up the ACC. He also attended the meeting of the Latin American Council, which he will lead during 2013.

During the Conference, the Board of Directors meeting held on November 7, 2012 appointed Gustavo Giay as a member of the Board of Directors of INTA, a non-profit association with 5,900 members from more than 190 countries, dedicated to the support and advancement of trademarks and related intellectual property as elements of fair and effective commerce. His term as Board Member will run from January 1, 2013 until December 31, 2015.

 

Iván A. Poli and Juan M. López Mañán gave presentations on “Trademarks Registration Abroad” at the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Argentina on November 13, 2012.
