Lex Mundi

On October 16-19, 2008 the Annual Conference of Lex Mundi –the world's leading association of independent law firms comprised of more than 160 members, including Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal as member for Argentina– was held in Buenos Aires. Several members of the Firm had an active participation in the different group meetings. Santiago Carregal gave a presentation on “Private Investment and Financing of Public Infrastructure Projects under PRP/PFI programs in Latin America”; Alberto D Q Molinario gave a presentation on “Class and access to justice" at the Pro Bono and Access to Justice Committee. Leandro M Castelli was a member of the panel on Dispute Resolutions and gave a presentation on “Class Actions and Punitive Damages in Argentina and Latin America”; Gustavo P Giay gave a presentation on "Internet Service Provider Liability in Argentina" at the IP Practice Group meeting. Enrique M. Stile gave a presentation on “The Practice of Employee Benefits Law in Argentina” at the Employee Benefits and Pension Practice Group meeting and Diego S Kelly gave a presentation on “The General Overriding Principles in Argentine Labor Law” at the Labor and Employment Practice Group meeting.
