The International Trademark Association (INTA) announced Iris Quadrio, partner at Marval O’Farrell Mairal, as a recipient of the Association’s 2021 President’s Award.
The global association of brand owners and trademark professionals presents the prestigious award annually to one or more of INTA’s most distinguished volunteers for a career dedicated to trademarks and intellectual property (IP) protection and advancement, and for contributions that have advanced INTA’s mission and made a lasting impact on the Association.
About this award, Quadrio said: “INTA is and has always been very important in my professional and personal life. It highly impacted my career as a lawyer and helped me develop business and management skills.”
“Most importantly,” she continued, “INTA opened the door to long-lasting friendships and made me a more diverse and accomplished person and professional. Receiving the President’s Award is a huge honor—a recognition that I also want to share with all the dedicated and committed INTA leaders and friends who have been inspirational in so many different ways.”
INTA President Tiki Dare highlighted, “Ms. Quadrio is an accomplished attorney, an inspirational leader, and an exceptional person. As a stalwart supporter of the Association, she has helped bring INTA to new heights over the years. She is an outstanding mentor who works very hard to ensure that the INTA community is welcoming for trademark attorneys from around the world.
