International Symposium on Pollution

On December 4-5, 2001, Buenos Aires hosted the International Symposium on Pollution in Water Spaces, organized by the Argentine branch of the Ibero-American Institute of Maritime Law. On such occasion, Alberto Cappagli, partner in charge of the Maritime Law Group of Marval, O'Farrell & Mairal, gave a presentation on "Argentine legislation in connection with maritime pollution". It should be noted that Mr. Cappagli and his team participated in the two important oil spills wich occurred in the River Plate and the surroundings area.
