IP Annual Meeting of the Argentine Association of Industrial Property Agents

Several members of the Firm gave presentations at the XXIII IP Annual Meeting of the Argentine Association of Industrial Property Agents held on August 27-28,2009 in the city of Buenos Aires.  Miguel B O’Farrell gave a presentation on “Somebody else’s shame? Landlord responsibility for copyright and trademark infringements”; Iván Poli lectured on “Reversal of the reversal of the reversal of the… Practical aspects of the reversal of the burden of proof in process patents”; Carol O’Donnell made a presentation on “Case law update - Court precedents regarding de-facto or unregistered trademarks - Evolution of judicial precedence related to the subject”. Juan López Mañan, Eugenio Hoss and Diego Fernández presented the conclusions of the breakfast working sessions in that same meeting, respectively on “Advantages and disadvantages of the multi-class system. Practical aspects of its implementation”, “Guarantee of the patent term”, and “Legitimate interest and domain names”.
