Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal, together with the Instituto Argentino de Ejecutivos de Finanzas, contributed to the “Forum on Foreign Investments. Complement to local savings or driving force for development? Are they really necessary?” organized by the business publications El Cronista Comercial and Apertura, held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Buenos Aires on November 23, 2004. In this forum Juan E Cambiaso gave a presentation on the conditions sought by foreing investors and the new ways in which private equity funds made their investments in the local market. Osvaldo Norte Sabino gave a presentation on the corporate legal framework to promote investments.
