On October 4-9, 2009 the Annual Conference of the International Bar Association (IBA) was held in Madrid, at which several members of Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal had an active participation. Roberto E Silva, Jr was a member of the panel on “New Age Financing - What are the Options?” at which he acted as Co-Chair, as well. Patricia López Aufranc gave a presentation on “Marketing for Lawyers” to the Women's Interest Group. Alfredo M O’Farrell gave a presentation on “Investing Opportunities in Argentina” at the British Embassy.
