Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal organized the “Seminar on Law Aspects of Pharmaceutical Industry”, held at the Faena Hotel + Universe on June 23, 2011. Martín Bensadon opened the seminar and acted as moderator. Miguel del Pino and Pablo García Morillo gave presentations on “Mergers, acquisitions and antitrust issues in the pharmaceutical industry”; Fernando M. Vaquero gave a presentation on “Tax aspects of Intellectual Property. Intangibles”; Santiago Soria and Maria Lorena Schiariti gave presentations on “Restrictions to the importation of pharmaceutical products”; Marcelo Brandariz on “Labor Issues”; Iris V. Quadrio spoke on “Pharmaceutical Products’ Trademarks” and Gustavo P. Giay on “Anticounterfeiting and pharmaceutical products”.
