III Brazil-Argentina Legal-Business Seminar

The “III Brazil-Argentina Legal-Business Seminar – Taxes and Investments” (“III Jornada Jurídico-Empresarial Brasil-Argentina – Impuestos e Inversiones”), organized by the Promotion of Business Section of the Brazilian Embassy, with the sponsorship of Demarest e Almeida (Brazil) and Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal (Argentina), was held at the Auditorium of the Brazilian Embassy in Buenos Aires on October 14, 2005.

In addition to members of the organizing firms, Alberto Abad, Argentine Tax Bureau Administrator, and Expedito Gonçalves, Tax Expert of the Embassy of Brazil and former Chief Cabinet for the Secretary of the Brazilian Tax Authority, participated in the event.

At this seminar, directed at companies working in Latin America, especially in Mercosur an at professionals and experts on taxation, Walter Keiniger gave a presentation on “Tax incentives and obstacles for investing in Argentina”.
