Two New Partners

On August 1, 2016, Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal promoted two senior associates to partner: Cristian Bittel and Daniel Di Paola. These promotions strengthen two of the firm’s core practice areas: Intellectual Property and Telecommunications, Media & Technology (TMT). The new partners already have a wealth of experience and are highly specialized in their respective areas of expertise. Cristian Bittel handles national and international prosecution work for pharma and agribusiness clients. Cristian coordinates the regional patent work of Marval and assists the firm’s patent lawyers in complex biotech litigation matters. He has a Ph.D. in Biology with a strong background in Molecular Biology. Daniel Di Paola has more than 15 years’ experience working with clients in telecoms and broadcasting, entertainment and corporate/M&A matters. He advises several key clients in the telecoms and broadcasting sector on a complete range of matters, from sector-specific regulatory issues to general corporate matters. Daniel has a postgraduate degree in Telecoms Law.
