On August 22, 2013, the Brazilian Ambassador in Buenos Aires conferred Mario L. Turzi the Ordem de Rio Branco em grau de Comendador medal presented by the Brazilian President. This year Mr. Turzi was the only Argentine honored with this award by the Brazilian Government.
