Diego currently teaches business law and derivative transactions at two universities in Argentina. Bárbara Ramperti specializes in M&A, joint ventures, reorganizations and corporate matters. She advises international clients and participates in the negotiation process of agreements for the acquisition of shares and assets within different industries. She has more than 14 years’ experience handling M&A and corporate matters. Leonardo G. Rodríguez is a mining specialist with more than 13 years’ experience advising key clients in the Argentine mining sector. He holds an LL.M. in Natural Resources Law from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he finished top of his class. He is a widely published expert on mining and in 2010 published his latest book “Argentine Law on Mining”. Rodrigo Solá Torino specializes in the labor aspects of M&A, general employment advice, immigration law and relocation of expatriates, negotiations with unions, rightsizings and labor contracts. He also has a strong background in negotiating termination agreements with expatriates and key employees. He has been assistant professor of International Law, Labor Law and Social Security at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and holds a post-graduate degree in labor law.

Alfredo O’Farrell, chair of Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal’s executive board, commented on the promotions: “At Marval, we are always looking to build for the future, thereby ensuring that our clients continue to receive the best possible service from a range of expert teams. We are pleased to be able to recognize the outstanding contributions of Rodrigo, Barbara, Leonardo and Diego and strengthen our thriving labor and employment, corporate/M&A, mining and banking and finance practice groups.
