Chambers Awards: South America Law Firm of the Year 2004

Marval, O'Farrell & Mairal has been awarded the "South America Law Firm of the Year 2004" by Chambers, the prestigious British publishers, after a meticulous assessment of the principal international law firms. The award was presented on 6 May in London at a gala ceremony in the Park Lane Hilton attended by over 800 lawyers, principally from Europe and the United States.

Chambers is known worldwide for its law firm rankings, which it has been producing for over ten years. The Chambers awards presented annually in London are a benchmark not only for European law firms but for those in America, Asia and the rest of the world. To ensure that the awards are made upon a totally client-oriented basis, the international panel of six judges consisted of in-house counsel of major banks and international corporations.

Juan E Cambiaso, Chair of Marval, O'Farrell & Mairal, in his message to the members of the firm said: "The effort made to be recognized as the South America Law Firm of the Year was significant, but it will always be less than the effort to be made in order to continue being worth of such distinction in the future".
