Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal and Demarest e Almeida organized the Seminar on "Brazil, the Country of Opportunities” which was held in our Buenos Aires offices on April 9, 2010. The Seminar was about topics such as sectors and business opportunities in Brazil, mainly due to the World Cup 2014, the Olympic Games 2016 and the Growth Acceleration Program; and the commercial relationship between Brazil and the other members of the “MERCOSUR”, especially with Argentina, relating to importation licenses, trade defense instruments (antidumping, compensatory rights and safeguard measures) and Brazilian exports displacement caused by Asian exportations.
