Arbitration

Santiago Soria gave a presentation on “Enforcement of Awards set aside in the place of arbitration” and María Laura Velazco on “Arbitrability and public order as grounds for annulments of arbitral awards in Argentina and abroad” at a seminar on “Judiciary Review in Arbitration”, organized by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and Young Arbitrators Forum (YAF), on October 10, 2012.

Likewise, María Laura Velazco acted as a member of the CARAT executive committee for the VII Annual Congress of Arbitration. This was hosted by the CARAT (Argentine Committee of National and Transnational Arbitration) and the Argentine Chamber of Commerce, on October 10, 2012, where Santiago Soria acted as moderator of the panel on “Arbitration bills in Argentina”.
