Latin Lawyer Diversity Initiative of the Year Award
Latin Lawyer presented Patricia López Aufranc with its inaugural award for Diversity Initiative of the Year, in recognition of her outstanding commitment to furthering the advancement of women in the Latin American legal profession. Patricia is known as a tireless campaigner for the importance of networking for female lawyers, in acknowledgement of how social capital can bring empowerment. She believes that women at the top of their career with leadership positions have a responsibility to help other women by acting collaboratively and forming alliances. The awards ceremony was held in São Paulo, Brazil on March 27, 2014.

The legal essay entitled “Estudios del comportamiento. Psicología del litigio. Importancia y aplicación ante la hipótesis de conflicto” by Santiago Codazzi was awarded first prize as the Best Final Work for the Law and Economy Master’s Degree of Universidad Di Tella.
