The Digital Policy System – Extension

On January 3, 2012, it was published in the Official Gazette the Resolution No. 36,434, issued by the Argentine Superintendence of Insurance on December 28, 2011, extending until April 1, 2012 the term set forth on Article 4 of Resolution No. 36,326.

The Digital Policy System – Extension

On November 29, 2011, the Argentine Superintendence of Insurance (“SSN” after its acronym in Spanish) issued Resolution No. 36,326, creating the Digital Policy System (see Insurance News #8 – “The Digital Policy System”).

Resolution No. 36,326 set forth that, from January 1, 2012, all companies authorized to operate in Motor and Public Transport of Passengers insurance had to be operating through the Digital Policy System.

By means of Resolution No. 36,434, published in the Official Gazette on January 3, 2012, the SSN extended the above mentioned term until April 1, 2012.
