Resolution 13/2012, enacted by the Mining Secretariat on 05/12/2012 (published on the Official Gazette on 05/28/2012)

Those companies that own mining projects that benefit from the regime set forth by Law No. 24196 must have a department of “import substitution.” Moreover, they must submit their demand schedules 120 days in advance to the Mining Technical Assessment Working Group. This working group, which is created within the Mining Secretariat, will analyze the submissions and issue a report. Demand schedules must be updated quarterly.
