CNV SME Guaranteed Regime: Information System Eased
The Commission simplified its regulatory framework under the CNV SME guaranteed regime.
On December 9, 2021, the Argentine Securities and Exchange Commission (the “CNV,” after its acronym in Spanish) issued General Resolution No. 915 modifying the differentiated information submission system for issuers included in the CNV SME guaranteed regime.
The Resolution flexed the system by eliminating the requirement to publish annual financial statements in the Financial Information Reporting System (which had to be done within 120 days from fiscal year-end).
Under the Resolution, the differentiated information system will be enforceable while the issuer remains in the public offering regime and until its CNV authorization is revoked.
However, during that time, the issuer will still have to submit its annual financial statements if so requested by the public.
