Barrick, the Canadian mining company, informed that the necessary work required in Chile to reactivate the Pascua-Lama project will demand six months less than expected. In addition, the Chilean Environmental Superintendence confirmed that the 16 million Dollar fine imposed on the mining company on account of irregularities has already been paid.
