Province of Rio NegroLaw 4766 passed on 06/07/2012, enacted by the provincial Executive Power on 06/14/2012 (published on the Official Gazette on 06/21/2012)

This law creates Empresa Minera Rionegrina S.A. (Rio Negro’s mining company -EMIR SA), with the object of promoting mining development within the province, and performing mining activities of investigation, prospection, exploration, exploitation, development, industrialization, and extraction of mineral substances by itself or associated with others. The province will own at least 60% of the shares with voting rights.
