The region exported 4,036 million dollars last year, which is a record. The regions of Cuyo, Argentine Northwest and Patagonia reached their historical export record in 2010, beating by over 20 per cent, on average, the previous record levels of 2008. San Juan had a strong export growth, becoming the main exporter of the region, driven by mining products.
