An official report of the Central Bank of Argentina indicated that between January and March, this year, direct foreign investment totalized 562 million Dollars, of which 300 million Dollars (53.4%) come from mining foreign investment.
In 2012, mining activity registered a new investment record in the amount of 19 billion Argentine Pesos, which account for project construction, production and risky exploration.
As a result, Argentina ranks among the top 10 mining investment locations.
