Canadian mining company Lithium Americas Corp. announced that before the end of the year it will begin lithium carbonate production in its Cauchari-Olaroz project, in the Province of Jujuy. The company detailed that it has begun the construction of a pilot plant to produce lithium carbonate with an investment of US$ 31 milllion.
