Minera Alumbrera, the mining company owned by Xstrata, Goldcorp and Yamana Gold, will spend US$ 4,000 million in El Pachon, in the Province of San Juan, according to Julian Rooney from Xstrata. The company also expects to spend US$ 1,500 million in the Agua Rica project.
