The Province of San Juan pushed the region of Cuyo to the first place in exports growth rankings for the 2003-2010 period. Driven mainly by mining, foreign trade in the province grew in monetary terms 1,326% in that time; i.e. an increase 10 times higher than that of Argentine exports.
