“Gioja signed an act for the calculation of new royalities”, published in “Inversor Energético & Minero – Daily Newsletter” (City of Buenos Aires) on 06/17/2011

The Governor of San Juan, José Luis Gioja, executed yesterday, at the Ricardo Colombo Hall of the Government House, the act of the agreement reached between the mining companies Minera Argentina Gold S.A., Minas Argentinas S.A. and Troy Resources Limitada and the Mining Ministry. The act determines a new calculation method for mining royalties, which will cause an increase in the State’s income. The royalties will be of 3 per cent, without deduction of direct or operational costs of processing.
