The Chilean company “Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile (SQM),” the main worldwide lithium producer foresees starting explorations in Argentina. From the first semester it will begin its first campaign of lithium exploration to develop the mineral deposits in Salta. According to the leader executive of the company, Patricio Contesse, Salta exhibits huge advantages for mining exploration. “Argentina has very attractive salt pans and the Province of Salta in this area is very interesting, as it has a defined and stable mining policy.
