While school’s out for summer vacation, adults caring for children or teenagers have to return to their physical workplace

On December 24, Resolution No. 1103/2020 of the Argentine Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security was published in the Official Gazette, ordering that as of January 1, 2021 and for as long as school is out for the summer in each jurisdiction, the provisions of Section 3 of Resolution No. 207/2020 do not apply. This section establishes that, while classes remain suspended on the count of the pandemic, non-attendance to the workplace of the parent or adult responsible for children or adolescents who are essential for taking care of them at home may be deemed justified.
