“Cerro Vanguardia Obtained International Cyanide Management Certification,” published in La Opinion Austral (City of Rio Gallegos, Province of Santa Cruz) on 08/04/2011

Cerro Vanguardia obtained this week the International Cyanide Management Code Certification for its deposit located 150 kilometers NW from Puerto San Julian. With this certification, it is confirmed that the presence of cyanide in tailings dams is reduced to a third of the maximum allowed and that additional control and security processes are applied, ensuring a much more environmentally-friendly policy.
