“Barrick states that the decision of the Chilean court does not affect the activities carried out in Argentina”, published in El Tribuno (Province of Jujuy) on the 04/11/2013

Canadian company, Barrick Gold, stated that the decision of the Chilean court concerning the Pascua Lama project does not affect the activities that are being carried out on the Argentine side; which will continue normally.
Rodrigo Jiménez Castellanos, Vice President of Corporate Affairs for Barrick in Argentina, stated that “the construction activities carried out in Argentina are not being affected by this decision”.
