The junior mining company Argentex Mining Corporation reported, through an official statement, additional results of its 2011 exploration program. To date, the mining company has completed 18,673 meters of drillings at its Pingüino property, with very good results, including pit P369-11 which produced 0.94 grams of gold and 88.8 grams of silver per ton in 61.79 meters, with 5.76 meters with 5.99 grams of gold and 675.75 grams of silver per ton. At the Marta Este vein, among others, in a 17.80 meters gap pit P371-11 produced a result of 1.14 grams of gold and 38.8 grams of silver, including 1.6 meters with 6.03 grams of gold and 10.5 grams of silver per ton, according to La Opinión Austral. In many cases, this mineralization is surrounded by a wide mineralized layer of over 1 gram of equivalent gold per ton, which is also very promising.
