Argentina is the sixth country with the highest potential in the development of mineral production. In its territory there are deposits of gold, copper, lead, zinc, natural borates, bentonite, clay and ornamental rocks. These reserves have positioned Argentina in an international top ten ranking that includes China, Peru, Philippines, Brazil and Chile, above Argentina, and that is followed by Mexico, Bolivia, Venezuela and the former Burma (currently, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar).
