| A Superior Court of Justice of the City of Buenos Aires’ ruling resolved a case where a tax on gross income debt was assessed, and the taxpayer, who had previously appealed the assessment, required a plan to pay the tax debt in monthly installments. Then, the taxpayer filed a refund claim. The Court analyzed whether once the taxpayer filed an administrative appeal against an assessment the tax payer is able to initiate a refund claim in relation to the same debt. |

| Reclamo fiscal y alternativas del contribuyente: ¿impugnación o pago y repetición? |
| Un fallo del Tribunal Superior de Justicia de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires resolvió un caso en el que se había determinado una deuda de Impuesto sobre los Ingresos Brutos y el contribuyente, que originalmente había interpuesto recursos contra la determinación, se acogió a un plan de pagos e inició una repetición. El Tribunal analiza si la impugnación administrativa de una determinación de oficio excluye o no la acción de repetición de lo pagado.

Brecha de género
Patricia López Aufranc hizo una presentación sobre “Entendiendo la Brecha de Género” ante un grupo de abogadas mujeres del estudio francés Gide Loyrette. Asimismo disertó sobre “La brecha de género y la importancia del mentoring” ante la Red de Mujeres de la Unión Internacional de Abogados. Ambas presentaciones fueron efectuadas en París, el 19 y el 22 de abril de 2016, respectivamente.

Responsabilidad penal de directores
Patricia López Aufranc disertó sobre “Manteniendo control sobre subsidiarias y protegiendo a los directores y ejecutivos de riesgo penal” en el Seminario sobre “Prevención de la responsabilidad penal de los directores de sociedades en Francia y en el extranjero”, organizado por la Unión Internacional de Abogados y la Asociación Francesa de Juristas de Empresa, en París, el 21 de abril de 2016. También fue moderadora en el panel “¿Quién está en riesgo dentro de la compañía?”
