FCI Account Plan Amendment
The Argentine Securities Commission issued General Resolution No. 931 to streamline Mutual Fund Management Companies’ control.
General Resolution No. 931 (“GR”) issued by the Argentine Securities Commission (“CNV”) introduced amendments regarding the accounting of new operations, instrument registration and applicable valuation criteria for the existing Account Plan and Manual of Mutual Fund Management Companies (“FCI”). ,
The purpose of the GR is to unify and standardize FCI information o allow comparisons and facilitate CNV control.
The GR approves with certain amendments the draft "Amendment to the Plan and Manual of Accounts of FCI", which had been published by CNV General Resolution No. 921 dated February 21, 2022.
Finally, the GR introduces a waiting period for implementation of the relevant amendments, requiring each FCI to effectively implement them as from the start of the 2023 accounting period.
