Labor Risk Superintendence Trademark Manual for Labor Risk Insurers Advertising Approved

SRT’s Resolution N°2553/2013 dated 12/23/2013, regulates the assistance to the public provided by the Labor Risk Insurers (A.R.T. after is acronym in Spanish) and the procedures for the management of claims. The main purpose of the resolution was to incorporate quality standards in the procedures of assistance, management, follow-up, registration and resolution of consultations and claims submitted at the A.R.T.

As a consequence of the emerging framework generated by the new information and communication technologies, through Resolution 19/2023 published in the Official Gazette on 4/5/2023, the S.R.T. modified Article 5 of Resolution 2553/2013, to include guidelines for advertisements, campaigns, or publicity spots of the A.R.T. Likewise, it approved an "SRT Trademark Manual for ART Advertising".

Through the new article mentioned above, the advertising, promotion and/or  broadcasting made by the ART  through graphic, digital (internet), television and/or cinematographic media must include: 1) display of the S.R.T. logo and mention of the organization; 2) the S.R.T.'s telephone service number 0800-666-6778; 3) the S.R.T.'s website (www.argentina.gob.ar/srt). In the event that the broadcasting is made by radio (analog or digital), the S.R.T. and its telephone number must be mentioned.

At the same time, the use of the logo and other references to the S.R.T. made in accordance with the above, must comply with the "SRT Trademark Manual for ART Advertising", which is incorporated as an appendix to the resolution.

In addition, the Manual establishes:

  •  the institutional typography and the chromatic palette to be used in connection with the logo, the sizes and proportions.
  • the incorporation of a plaque, in relation to audiovisual advertising, that will be used with the information established in art. 5, and must appear at the end of the advertising, with a minimum exposure time of 1.5 seconds;
  • the incorporation, in radio advertising of the text "SUPERINTENDENCIA DE RIESGOS DEL TRABAJO. 0800-666-6778. www.argentina.gob.ar/srt" with a minimum duration of two seconds, at the end of the advertisement.
  • requirements for websites, billboards, graphic advertising, among others.

Finally, the A.R.T. is granted a term of ninety (90) days as from the publication of the new resolution in the Official Gazette, to adapt their advertisements, campaigns, or publicity slots to the provisions.
