Wages – Decree No 905/2003

The unearned allowance established by Decree No 2641/02 is to be increased to Pesos 200 per month as from May 1, 2003 until December 31, 2003.

Wages – Decree No 905/2003

Decree No 1273/2002 established an unearned allowance of $ 100 (one hundred pesos) for all workers in the private sector covered by collective bargaining agreements for the period from July 1, 2002 to December 31, 2002. Decree No 2641/2002 established that the non-remunerative maintenance payment should be $ 130 as from January 1, 2003 to February 28, 2003, and $ 150 from March 1 to June 30, 2003, for all workers covered by collective bargaining agreements.

Decree No 905/2003 has increased the unearned allowance established by Decree No 2641/2002 to $ 200 per month as from May 1, 2003 until December 31, 2003. For the purposes of interpretation of this decree, the pertinent terms of Decree No 1371/2001 regulating Decree No 1273/2002, Decree No 2641/2002 and all complementary and clarifying rules issued by the Labor Secretariat and the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security shall apply directly (please see “The Government forces companies to increase wages”, Marval News #08 July 2002 and “Rules regarding the application of the Decree setting forth the one hundred Argentine pesos Increase”, Marval News #09 Ago 2002).
