The Government of the Province of Rio Negro announced yesterday that it is planning to create a state-owned mining company. The announcement was made by the Governor, Alberto Weretilneck, and he informed that in two weeks a bill will be sent to the Legislative Body, creating a 100% state-owned mining company, which will allow the government to participate in projects, obtain genuine resources, and control environmental impact.
