Antidumping Proceedings – Vacuum Flasks and Other Vacuum Vessels from China

Through Resolution 174/2024, the Ministry of Economy opened a sunset review due to the expiration of the term of the antidumping measures on exports from China to Argentina.
The goods involved are “vacuum flasks and other isothermal containers with stainless steel ampoule of a capacity not exceeding 2,5 liters" and "vacuum flasks and other isothermal containers with glass ampoule and with capacities up to 2,5 liters,” classified under Mercosur Customs Tariff Codes (NCM) 9617.00.10.
It was the company LUMILAGRO SA that requested the opening of the sunset review.
So far, authorities have estimated a dumping margin of 77,30% for vacuum flasks with stainless steel ampoules and of 129,97% for vacuum flasks with glass ampoules, considering exports from China to Argentina. Considering exports from China to Peru as a third market country, the authorities estimated a dumping margin of 403,03% for vacuum flasks with stainless steel ampoules and of 418,91% for vacuum flasks with glass ampoules.
The resolution keeps current antidumping measures in force until the sunset review ends.
