Antidumping Proceedings: Poly plates, sheets, foil and strips

The Ministry of Productive Development, by Resolution No. 1140/2021, opened an antidumping investigation on exports to Argentina of “poly plates, sheets, film, foil and strips (Methyl Methacrylate), exclusively noncellular, unlaminated, with a thickness greater than or equal to 2 mm but lower than or equal to 200 mm, whether or not presented with disposable protective film on one or both sides, and poly plates, sheets, film, foil and strips (Methyl Methacrylate), exclusively non-cellular, unlaminated, square or rectangular with slightly rounded corners, whether or not combined with plastic around the perimeter, with a thickness greater than or equal to 2 mm but lower than or equal to 200 mm, whether or not presented with or without disposable protective film on one or both sides.”, originating in China. These goods are classified under Mercosur Customs Tariff Codes (N.C.M) 3920.51.00 and 3926.90.90.

The company NOREN PLAST S.A. requested the opening of the antidumping investigation. 

The authorities determined a presumptive dumping margin of 85.58% for China.
