Antidumping Proceedings – Gas Screw Compressors

The Ministry of Productive Development (by Resolution No. 75/2022) opened a sunset review on account of the expiration of the term of the antidumping measures on exports from Brazil to Argentina of “gas screw compressor units (except air screw compressors), including the kind used in refrigeration facilities, with a volumetric displacement capacity of at least 200 m3/h, including those containing panels and operating motors.” These goods are classified under Mercosur Customs Tariff Codes (N.C.M) 8414.30.99 and 8414.80.32.

The Resolution keeps current antidumping measures in force until the sunset review is completed.

The company V.M.C. REFRIGERACIÓN S.A. requested the opening of the sunset review.

So far, the authorities have determined a dumping margin of 211.75% from Brazil, considering total exports from Brazil to third market countries.
