Antidumping Proceedings – Porcelain insulators from Brazil, China and Colombia

The Ministry of Productive Development, by Resolution N° 273/2020, opened the review due to the expiration of the term of the antidumping measure provided by Resolution N° 410 dated June 4, 2015 from the former Ministry of Economy and Public Finance, on exports to Argentina of porcelain insulators, solid mounted, of bolt or line support (post style), for service voltage lower than or equal to 60 kV; of suspension, with mechanical load of lower than or equal to 165 kN and submerged through-holes outside, for a service voltage higher than or equal to 10 kV but lower than or equal to 40 kV, of the types used in transformers, from Brazil, China and Colombia, classified under Mercosur Customs Tariff Code (N.C.M) 8546.20.00., while keeping the current antidumping measures until the completion of the review.

The company FÁBRICA ARGENTINA DE PORCELANAS ARMANINO S.A. requested the opening of the review process of the antidumping measure.

The authorities determined a presumptive dumping margin of 95.62% for Brazil, 152.63% for China and of 118.32% for Colombia.
