Antidumping Proceedings – Pipping accessories for butt welding from China

The Ministry of Productive Development, by Resolution N° 522/2020, opened the review due to the expiration of the term of the antidumping measure provided by Resolution N° 1,181 dated October 23, 2015 from the former Ministry of Economy and Public Finance, on exports to Argentina of pipping accessories for butt welding - elbows, except 180° elbows and reduction elbows and elbows and tees - of carbon steels, in various shapes, manufactures according to ASME B. 16.9 and ASTM A234 or equivalent standard ( IRAM 2607, etc), with external diameters equal to or greater than SIXTY WITH THREE MILLIMETERS ( 60.3 mm) ( designation TWO INCHES (2”)) and less than or equal to THREE HUNDRED TWENTY THREE WITH EIGHT MILLIMETERS ( 323,8 mm) ( designation TWELVE INCH (12”)) in standard and extra heavy thicknesses from China, classified under Mercosur Customs Tariff Codes (N.C.M) 7307.19.20 y 7307.93.00., while keeping the current antidumping measures until the completion of the review.

The Chamber of Manufacturers of Steel Pipes and Tubes requested the opening of the review process of the antidumping measure.

The authorities determined a presumptive dumping margin of 110% for China.
