Goldcorp, the mining giant, is considering investing 1,350 million Dollars in the Cerro Negro mining project, located 70 km from the city of Perito Moreno. The investment includes the entire construction process, up to the beginning of operations. This project already hired 575 direct employees and 2,461 indirect employees through different contractors. Potentially, this project expects to extract 525,000 ounces of gold during the first five years.
