New application for mandatory labor conciliations

The Mandatory Labor Conciliation Service has implemented a new application for mandatory labor conciliations as of June 16.  Therefore, hearings with the intervention of labor conciliators will be carried out online and drawn at random.

The following is new:

(i) The worker will not need to personally attend the Mandatory Labor Conciliation Service to draw a hearing with a labor conciliator.

(ii) A new field has been added so as to be able to include the accident number in those cases where the aim of the claim is a labor accident.

(iii) Powers of attorney (in the event of attorneys-in-fact) or authorizations and copy of the worker´s identity number credential (in case of representative attorneys) must be scanned.

The form issued by this system has the nature of a sworn statement. Once it is completed, the system will inform the data regarding the appointed hearing: the name of the conciliator, the domicile, date and time of hearing.
