Creates a information system for the mining community in Argentina, through which the economic, geological, geographic, social, sanitary and environmental aspects of mining activity in the Country must be periodically reported.

Additionally, it creates the national mining round table open to the mining community, which will have among its objectives: (i) the reception, exposition, analysis and debates on the benefits, risks and factors to be considered in the development of mining, all within a framework of democratic, constructive and respectful dialogue; and (ii) the communication of information and analysis among the community, incorporating visions from different productive, labor, social, environmental, academic, scientific and technological sectors.

The mining company Livent is carrying out another project that aims to double its current lithium carbonate production. in the Fénix deposit, located in the Salar del Hombre Muerto. For the expansion works, the US company has approved an investment of USD 640 million since May 2021.

The Minister of Productive Development received the managers of the mining company,Rio Tinto, who announced their investment plan in Argentina for USD 100 million. The company plans to build a lithium carbonate plant which, once commissioned in 3 to 5 years, will have a production capacity of 50,000 tons per year.

Rio Tinto will allocate the investment to exploration and improvements in the pilot plant that was started up in the Salar of Rincón, Salta Province.

Latin Metals Inc. announced that it has entered into an agreement with a subsidiary of Barrick Gold Corporation. Under the terms of the Agreement, Barrick has the right to acquire up to an 85% interest in the Company's Cerro Bayo, Cerro Bayo Sur, and La Flora properties located in Santa Cruz Province, Argentina.
