The salt pans of Catamarca, Jujuy and Salta, northern Chile and Bolivia concentrate 83% of the Lithium reserves worldwide. A report from Deloitte consultants stresses that, nowadays, Argentina is the country with the world’s largest investment assigned to the search for lithium and the second worldwide producer -after Chile-, with over 7000 ton yearly.
