Data Protection Authority Receives International Award
The award recognizes the agency’s innovative Personal Data Protection Module, developed together with the Anti-Corruption Office.

During the 46th Annual Meeting of the Global Privacy Assembly (GPA), which recognizes the efforts made by privacy and data protection authorities around the world, the Argentine Data Protection Authority (AAIP) received an award for its Personal Data Protection Module, within the category of “accountability.”
In this regard, Beatriz de Anchorena, head of the AAIP, explained that the Personal Data Protection Module is a free self-assessment tool that acts as a compass for companies and organizations, guiding them to comply with current regulatory demands while preparing for future challenges.
This tool aims to enable large, medium, and small companies, cooperatives, state companies, and civil society organizations to acknowledge their compliance status regarding personal data protection regulations.
The Personal Data Protection Module goes beyond mere compliance with the law: it helps companies build trust with their customers, employees, and partners by demonstrating their commitment to the protection of personal data, all of which constitutes a competitive advantage.
The Module is available in the Registry of Integrity and Transparency for Businesses and Entities (RITE), a free platform promoted by the Anti-Corruption Office with the support of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
