Federal:
Law No. 27,621. This Law establishes the right to comprehensive environmental education as a federal public policy.
Resolution No. 183/2021 issued by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development. The Resolution creates the Federal Network of Rescue and Rehabilitation Centers.
Resolution No. 185/2021 issued by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development. This Resolution approves the operation rules for sanitation and remediation works on open-air landfills.
Resolution No. 244/2021 issued by the National Parks Administration. This Resolution creates the Environmental Education Program for the National Parks Administration.
Resolution No. 414/2021 issued by the Energy Secretariat. This Resolution creates the Registry of Safety, Technical and Environmental Auditing Entities.
Matanza-Riachuelo Basin:
Resolution No. 104/2021 issued by the Matanza-Riachuelo Basin Authority (“ACUMAR,” for its Spanish acronym). This Resolution launches the procedure to elaborate new regulations with regard to the draft of the resolution for ACUMAR’s indicator system.
Resolution No. 89/2021 issued by the Matanza-Riachuelo Basin Authority. This Resolution approves the “Environmental governance program for the Matanza-Riachuelo Basin remediation.”
Joint Resolution No. 1/2021 issued by the Matanza-Riachuelo Basin Authority and the Environmental General Directorate. This Joint Resolution creates environmental wardens to guarantee the territorial presence and immediacy of ACUMAR's response in events or emergencies of environmental risk or damage that may occur in the Matanza Riachuelo Basin.
City of Buenos Aires:
Resolution No. 67/2021 issued by the Environmental Protection Agency (“APRA,” for its Spanish acronym). This Resolution abrogates APRAS’ Resolution No. 305-GCABA-APRA/19 and approves the procedures to process, obtain, renew, or modify the Environmental Aptitude Certificate.
Province of Buenos Aires:
Resolution No. 2/2021 issued by the Provincial Agency for Sustainable Development. This Resolution approves the tripartite agreement on the procedure for authorizing new mining operations within the area of the Matanza-Riachuelo Basin in the jurisdiction of the Province of Buenos Aires.
Resolution No. 74/2021 issued by the Provincial Agency for Sustainable Development. This Resolution approves several amendments to Resolution No. 468/2019, which had approved the regulatory framework on treatment of used industrial oils or lubricants (Y8 category).
